After a negative reception on the first PC CBT of Bless Unleashed, Round 8 has published several changelogs for the upcoming CBT2. Below is a summary of all the changes that we can expect.
#1 Improvement – Skill Input Key Change(Hold → Toggle)
In order to make player combat experience a little more dynamic, we decided to change the key skill input method. We are reviewing improvements in various areas, but the specific modification to be talked about today is that we have changed having to hold a button for skill input to a simple Toggle! Rejoice!
What is a Toggle Key?When using a skill, the key is not pressed continuously like the Hold Key, but rather when the key is pushed once, it is recognized as a Hold, and the skill is automatically activated after the required time elapses.
Benefits!• Improved the inconvenience of having to hold down the key until skill activation!
• Faster combat speed and action!

#2 Improvement – Control Customization
A special tutorial on control customization has been added to provide players with effective training for customizing their experience on PC.
#3 Improvement – Sprint Improvement
Another major content that users have mentioned since the Steam CBT was in response to controls. Although it wasn’t an issue with the gamepad, we’ve improved some of the awkward keyboard/mouse controls or movement!
Firstly – A significant increase in Sprint Time
The sprint time during field and non-combat will be increased from 6 seconds to 20 seconds. The previous 6 seconds was in relation to battle balance, but time has been increased to provide a little more convenience outside of battle.
Sprint control changed to HoldThe previous sprint control was a toggle. Players pressed the button to start sprinting and pressed it once more to stop. Since the sprint time was short and it was difficult to sprint because stamina was consumed as much as desired, we decided to change it to a Hold for a more convenient operation.
Before change
• Press the sprint key once to continue sprinting
• Sprint ends when stamina runs out or player stops moving
After change
• Sprint only when holding down the sprint key
• Stop sprint when releasing the sprint key
• Direction can be changed while sprinting, but if the sprint key is held down and there is no movement operation, sprint is cancelled and the player stops in place.
#4 Improvement – Addition of an Auto-Run Toggle Key
Due to the nature of an Open World game, it isn’t easy to move around from one place to another without your wrist or fingers getting fatigued. In order for players to smoothly enjoy the world of Bless Unleashed on PC, we have added an auto-run toggle key! Modifications will be made to automatically maintain a running or walking state by pressing a specific key.
Note• Modified to maintain running/walking through a specific key
• Sprinting while auto running/walking does not disable the auto-run
• Auto-running is canceled when jumping, evading, or using related skills while auto running/walking
• Details may change in the future depending on the development direction.
#5 Improvement – Changed Item Usage Method(Belt Scroll → Slot Method)
To use an item in Bless Unleashed PC, users had to scroll to choose what was called the ‘belt scroll’ method. This was because Bless Unleashed was first designed with consoles in mind, where keyboards and mice are not commonplace. We recognized that this could be inconvenient to have to scroll to select the desired items even in combat situations like PVE and PVP, or even when using items on a regular basis.
To minimize inconvenience, we plan to change the item usage method from a ‘belt scroll’ method to a slot system, where slots will utilize player keybinds in a similar fashion to other typical PC MMORPGs that players are familiar with!
What is a Slot Method?Items/Potions are listed in 5 slots, so players can quickly use items through shortcut keys without having to scroll.
#6 Improvement – Path-Guiding Function AddedPlayers will discover the world of Bless Unleashed and meet many NPCs while performing countless quests. In particular, users just starting off may have a difficult time in finding quest areas and NPCs.
In order for users to perform quests without an issue, a path guiding function that guides users the way to quest destinations will also be added! It’s entirely optional and can be used (or not!) as much as you wish. It merely highlights the quickest path to your quest objective with a nice glowing trail.
Addition of the Quest Log / HUD Quest Log Help Guide
- The Path Guiding icon is added to the main menu Quest Log UI, and the quest list. Click on the Path Guiding icon for a guide to the quest location.
- The help guide for Path Guiding can be found in the Quest Log UI

#7 Improvement – Skill UI Layout Change
We are aware that the previous skill UI layout was uncomfortable for users because it was different from the keyboard layout. The current square shaped skill UI will be changed to a bar shape that is more suitable for the PC keyboard to optimize the keyboard and mouse controls.

#7 Improvement – Lowered Dungeon Entry Level
By allowing players to enter the dungeon at an earlier level, they can quickly grow their character through increased rewards! This change will affect the mid-level dungeons between level 10 and level 30.
#8 Improvement – Crusader Class Changes
1) Combo Improvements
First Attack
Although this is the first combo technique players encounter when playing the Crusader Class, we decided that the first and second hits were a little slow, making it difficult to give the expected action of a combo attack.
This will be further improved so players can feel a quicker attack with faster motion.
Sunset Strike Combo
After reviewing data, we were able to confirm that this combo was not being used as often compared to other combos, so we decided to significantly improve this combo so players will be able to use it actively.
Therefore, the Sunset Strike combo will be modified to become an even better usable combo!
2) ‘Bravery’ Usability Improvement
What is ‘Bravery’?
‘Bravery’ is a resource Crusaders obtain and this resource is built up as they fight, as well as consumed when certain skills are used.
Contrary to the original intention, we were able to confirm that ‘Bravery’ lacked relevance in skill or attack play, and we noticed that it could interfere with the use of the skill or delay play, thus we decided to improve its usability through the following ways!
- First, when using skills, ‘Bravery’ will not be consumed.
- Improvements have been made so players can acquire ‘Bravery’ by using attack skills as well as combos.
- When using a unique skill while possessing ‘Bravery’, ‘Bravery’ is consumed and additional effects are given.
- Guard: Possessing ‘Bravery’ adds AoE damage & health recovery
- Shield Throw: Health recovery if hit correctly
- Piercing Shield: Health recovery proportional to damage dealt
- Inquisition: Possessing ‘Bravery’ adds Blood Leech
3) Crusade like a Crusader
We plan to improve the Crusader Class to better suit its personality and characteristics!
We are constantly reviewing to improve in a direction that can satisfy users in various fields.
Its defensive role is being strengthened to help it fill the role of a tank more readily, and other details will be shared in the future so please look forward to the upcoming improvements.
#9 Improvement – Attack Speed Change
To give players a faster battle and play experience, we plan to improve details related to attack speed!
Players can increase attack speed through various equipment options, and enjoy faster battles including the activation of skills for each class!
#10 ImprovementNumber of Combo Buttons Change (3 → 2)
The number of combo buttons has been changed from 3 -> 2 to better optimize play in the PC environment!

#11 Improvement – Mouse Usability
1) Changed menu navigation and exit method (ESC button → right click)
Previously, players had to press the ESC button every time they selected something in the menu or exited. This was because the default key settings were based on the console version.
After much discussion, we decided that it was not efficient to have to press a button every time players explored the menu so mouse usability will be improved so players can use the right click button of the mouse instead of the ESC button!
In the future, right click to move around the menu or exit without having to press a button!
2) Fixed mouse pointer position
When calling UI such as menus, maps, and quests, the mouse position was called from where it previously was. We realized this small detail proved to be inconvenient, so this will be improved so that whatever menu is brought up, the mouse will be called to the center of the screen in the future.
3) Skip NPC conversation with mouse click
During quests, players often have to go through conversations with the NPC. Although a skip function is available currently, it is through a specific key on the keyboard, and in order to improve this to become more convenient on the PC, dialog can be skipped by clicking the mouse instead of the keyboard in the future.
#12 Improvement – Chat window UI/UX Improvements
1) Addition of global/region chat window
For smoother chat activities for various global users, both regional and global windows will be provided separately. However, as all users can chat in Global, there will be a certain time limit when entering chat to avoid spam.
2) Prevent automatic text entry
Previously, when using the keys on the keyboard to move the tab of the chat window, the cursor automatically activated in the text input window. Due to this method, it became unintentionally uncomfortable to move tabs in the chat window.
In the future, it will be improved so that the text input window will not automatically activate even if players press tab.
3) Make repeated messages more convenient
For repeated messages, the input message is improved so that players can enter the same message through the Enter key without going through the hassle of rewriting! Want to look for a group and not have to type specifics each time? This is your friend!
4) Fixed chat window scroll
It’s not easy to see what you want when new messages are constantly popping up like crazy right? If you select the desired message in the chat window, even if a new message comes up, the chat window is fixed so that you can read the content more comfortably!
5) Other
Excluded unnecessary chat guides!
#13 Improvement – Other UI/UX & Convenience Factors
1) Changed some input buttons (G Key → Enter Key)
We received feedback about how it was highly uncomfortable when playing Bless Unleashed PC because some input buttons required either the G or Enter key.
As a result of this, improvements were made so that some of the input buttons that were G keys have been changed to the Enter key! We will continue working on even the smallest improvements to enhance player experience.
2) Added system menu button to the server list screen (Esc Button → Right Click)
Players can now open the system menu while in the server list screen.
The system menu can be accessed from the server list without connecting to the game. The option to close the client is also available from the system menu.
#14 Improvement – Camera zoom in/out with mouse wheel at launch!
However, for a better PC optimization where more keys can be operated, camera zoom in/out function will be able to be adjusted more conveniently through the mouse wheel! Please note, this will not be live in CBT2, but in release
#15 Improvement – Improved Lighting and Added Tessellation

#3 – Strengthened Dream Dungeon Tutorial
For beginning users, a tutorial is required in order to play the game.
The Dream Dungeon tutorial gives players an overview of Bless Unleashed PC. In addition to the initial story, players can experience how to manipulate combos, skills, combat and movement methods of the selected class.
However, we decided that the current tutorial may not be informative enough for users who are experiencing Bless Unleashed PC, so we lowered the difficulty of the tutorial and strengthened the tutorial through adding various guides such as moving, switching views, jumping, aiming, and using items.
Learn about the gameplay of Bless Unleashed PC faster through detailed guidance in the Dream Dungeon Tutorial!
